Abstract |
The knowledge and experiences of undergraduate Indian dental students towards research at Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Jharkhand is of interest. A cross-sectional observational study was conducted by using a self-explanatory questionnaire consisting of 12 questions. A total of 182 students participated in the study, with most considering research an important part of their dental curriculum. While many first, second and third-year BDS students had not conducted research, those in the third and final years enjoyed research activities. Over 80% of third and final-year students expressed interest in pursuing further research. This study showed that Indian dental students at RIMS Ranchi had strong interest in research. |
